We get a phenomenal number of enquiries from clients requesting graduates for a whole range of positions. The current dilemma that Doncaster faces is the loss of candidates to Manchester, Leeds and other University cities, and we never get them back. Yet now, with such massive investment in Doncaster, there’s much more opportunity to retain the graduates and develop Doncaster’s gene pool.

So far the service is going well. A lot of its success is based on attracting people originally from Doncaster back to Doncaster after their student years – though Sewell Moorhouse are also interested in graduates who have relocated to the region. The key message to graduates is that the right jobs really do exist in Doncaster and the key message to clients is that a graduate can be sourced from the local vicinity with no problem.
