About us

Sewell Moorhouse Ltd was founded in Sheffield in 1997 by our Chief Executive, Cliff Sewell. The business is now a multi-disciplined, recruitment group operating from 4 locations across the North of England.

We have 4 specialist teams

Sewell Moorhouse recruits on a temporary, interim and permanent basis. Clients range in size from small OMBs to quoted Plcs in the Public & Private sector. We believe that success is about understanding our clients' needs and our candidates' needs, equally.

Our consultants enjoy working for us. They are encouraged to work as entrepreneurs within their chosen market and develop a knowledge and experience that aims to surpass that of the competition.

Our average length of service is over 3 years compared to an industry average of 18 months.

 

Consultants are targeted on long-term business development initiatives and building relationships as well as short term financial objectives. The depth of knowledge and experience of our consultants helps develop strong, lasting, relationships with our clients and candidates. This allows the consultants to further develop their excellent benchmarking skills.

Knowledgeable consultants, market leading software, bespoke training packages and efficient internal systems mean that many clients and candidates are referred to us by our extensive network.

Between March 2008 and March 2009 more than 10% of our candidates were direct referrals.
