The Royal Albert Hall receives a visit from our very own Lissie…
We are not always quick to shout about our non-business successes but on this occasion we really are thrilled to let everyone know that Lis Reed, Administrator at our Sheffield Office, and our longest serving member of staff, has just performed in a once in a lifetime event at the Royal Albert Hall.
Lis performed solo in the ‘Sing Live UK - Sing the Musicals of the Silver Screen’ on Sunday 27th September. She was cast in the famous Sister Act number - Hail, Holy Queen as solo soprano singing with Sarah Levy as the solo alto.
The concert was a celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Sing Live UK, a company that was founded 10 years ago to bring the joy of singing to as many people as possible. The event, in aid of The Lady Taverners charity was hosted by their President Judith Chalmers OBE.
Lis has performed with Sing Live since joining them in 2001, both locally and internationally having just returned from the Sing Live tour of the Canadian Rockies and Alaska in August.
Her latest performance at the landmark venue in London was sensational and one never to be forgotten. Lis says ‘The concert itself and my solo were the most amazing and surreal experiences ever, but totally out of this world!!’
