Summer Party Extravaganza

The company BBQ was held at Sheffield Tigers RUFC on a sunny day in June, well the best day the British weather had to offer! The event was open to all employees, their partners and children. A few even invited their mums and dads along too! The entertainment throughout the day was organised by Lisa Walker, HR Manager and there was something for everyone, well known singer Gem Harrison created a lively atmosphere and got the party going, whilst a children’s entertainer and magician had everyone entertained with a mesmerising magic show which the children loved participating in.

One of the main features was the bucking bronco, this was a particular favourite of the quiet and subdued staff of Sewell Moorhouse, well if you believe that you’ll believe anything, everyone from Cliff Sewell to Bryan Shaw head of IT had a go. There was a fantastic inflatable slide and bouncy castle as well as face painting and not just for the children! Needless to say that the most fun and most pictures were on the bucking bronco and the inflatable slide. Although the weather wasn’t too kind to us the sun did come out after the food had been served in the clubhouse and everyone enjoyed the entertainment and camaraderie.

Cliff Sewell was delighted to see all staff get involved and their excitement for the day, he went on to say, “It was great to see so many of our loyal and successful people enjoy the summer party with their families. Everyone really made an effort and thanks go to everyone who helped to create such an awesome day! I was so proud to be a part of the day and to see all our people together, I realised just how much Sewell Moorhouse has grown, but our main achievement is that we have managed to retain our family culture and team spirit.
